The Australian Aerobatic Club (AAC) - Queensland Website
The club represents and promotes the sport of competition aerobatics in Queensland. Training is offered through affiliated flying schools like the Sunshine Coast Flying School. Club members can then practice and refine their skills at club practice days and enter the annual Australian State and National Aerobatics Championships. The Queensland Chapter is based at Watts Bridge Airfield and has a fantastic purpose built club house and a permanent ‘aerobatic box’ at the airfield.

There is a National Website and Committee that represents the State Chapters and promotes the sport of competition aerobatics at a national level in Australia, providing opportunities for members of the State Chapters to compete at the annual National Aerobatic Championships and to represent Australia at international competition events.

The Gympie Aero-Club welcomes all pilots, student pilots and non-pilots with an interest in aviation. Both locals and visitors to the area are welcome. A flying membership is currently only $66.00 per annum. The Club aims to promote awareness and participation in aviation activities, in the community and among its members, with an emphasis on safety and comradeship. The Club also facilitates ongoing learning, training and skills development, through SCFS and other flying schools at Gympie aerodrome, and provides a social outlet to enable the harmonious joy of flying in a respectful environment to members and visitors..
